Seedly Profile

Username

You are strongly encouraged to use your real name as your Seedly profile username. If you’re uncomfortable doing so, you may choose to take up an alias.

In the event any content associated with your Seedly profile is reported, and your username and/or email appears to be false credentials, the Seedly team reserves the right to ban or delete your Seedly profile, without notice.

The following rules also apply:

• Capitalisation – Usernames should preferably be formatted in sentence case (e.g. John Smith but not JOHN SMITH).
• False credentials – Seedly profiles created with false credentials will be banned indefinitely.
• Profanity – Profanities and explicit content are not allowed in Seedly profiles.
• Names in non-Latin alphabet languages – You may use characters and letters that are not part of the Latin alphabet as long as it is enclosed in parentheses and is preceded by a Latin alphabet-name. E.g. Piotr Nikolayevich Rasputin (Пётр Николаевич Распутин), Ban Ki-Moon (반기문).

Credentials

Your credentials should be accurate and up-to-date. If the Seedly team suspects that your Seedly profile has fraudulent or fake credentials, we may ask you to provide supporting evidence for verification.

The following rules also apply:

• Promo and referral codes are not allowed
• Affiliate and referral links are not allowed

Profile Picture

You may choose any image for your Seedly profile as long as it does not violate the Seedly Guidelines.

Unverified Profiles

As a new community member, you will receive an email asking you to verify your Seedly profile. If you fail to do so within the specified time, the Seedly team reserves the right to delete any unverified Seedly profiles.

Social Links

The primary purpose of allowing social links on your Seedly profile is to allow community members to connect with you easily. As such, you are free to brand your Seedly profile with social media links e.g. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube.

You may also link out to your own blog or website.

However, Seedly profiles should not contain any promo or referral codes, as well as affiliate or referral links.
