How We Make Money
As a platform and community, we want to help you make smarter financial decisions. While we strive to provide a wide range of options, our site does not include information about every financial product or service that may be available to you.
We are paid by providing advertising services and may earn a referral commission for links on our site. However, we never allow partners or sponsors to dictate our content. And will always determine any reviews, rankings or ratings independent of outside interests and arrangements.
Here’re some ways which we make money:
- Advertising – Banner ads.
- Business – SeedlyBusiness account products and verified business profiles.
- Event – SeedlyFest sponsors and ticket sales.
- Media – Branded SeedlyReads content created in conjunction with Singapore ministries as well as governmental units, statutory boards, departments, and agencies.
- Media – Branded content created in conjunction with SeedlyFest sponsors.
SeedlyReads: Our Editorial Standards
At SeedlyReads, our goal is clear, precise, literate prose that effectively conveys information to our readers.
Those readers should not be misled by error, baited with half-truths, or annoyed by jargon. Even though the subject of personal finance is serious and we go about it seriously, our readers should be entertained — when possible — while learning about the intricacies of such a tedious subject. The best way to learn is if readers find our content relevant and our writing memorable.
We are impartial and seek to reflect the views and experiences of our readers. By focusing on providing value to our readers, our content as a whole should include breadth and diversity of opinion to help readers make smarter financial decisions. While we should provide a balanced view where possible, our editorial standards do not require absolute neutrality on every issue.
We are independent of outside interests and arrangements that could compromise our editorial integrity.

SeedlyTV Webinars, Workshops, And Meetups
Occasionally, we will run SeedlyTV webinars, workshops, and meetups to educate our community on personal finance-related topics and matters.
These may be sponsored or partnered in nature and we will disclose such details in the lead up and during the event.
SeedlyFest: Seedly Personal Finance Festival
Every year, we aim to hold a massive consumer event, which features the best speakers and companies in the finance space. The event is also a showcase of their products and solutions to thousands of people living in Singapore.
The featured speakers and their content are curated, vetted, and adapted by the Seedly team to ensure that value and knowledge are prioritised above product sale.
All sponsors of the festival (including PLATINUM, GOLD, SILVER, and BRONZE sponsors) are made known in the lead up, during the event, and also through other means e.g. a SeedlyReads article, which curates partner and sponsor-specific promotions.
